I bought this hot water bottle three years ago, and got good use out of it since then. Until today, when the bottle split, spilling recently boiled water all over my legs. So two stars for three years worth of usage....minus 3 stars for eventually bursting

DO NOT BUY - ours has just burst due to a pre-existing manufacturing fault. The photos show incomplete filling of the strengthening rib at the bottom of the bottle. No1 shows the general position of the burst, The arrow on No2 points to the limit of the filling of the rib and the dotted line in No3 across the rib marks the weak point consequent on the incomplete filling which aligns with the centre point and thus the most likely origin of the tear.

I gave a neutral rating for "pain relief" because I don't have any pain in bed. I tend to buy hot water bottles to keep warm: I'm strange like that.It's a nice, soft bottle, holds a good amount of water, and stays warm throughout the night. Only two negatives: firstly, the aperture for adding hot water is small. You need a *very* steady hand, or else use a plastic jug with a pointed lip for filling. Secondly, I don't see the point in those weird bobbles. I carefully cut them off and they're now looking great on the crocheted llama that my wife mde for me! He thinks he looks pretty cool!

Initially it looked really nice, a few days later it just started falling apart and looks really bad now. Very poor quality.Tried to get in touch with general healthcare and they just didn’t want to listen

The hanging strap came off straight away when I held on it which makes me think if the water will leak as well. I don't know yet as this was the first time I'm using it. It looks nice but I'm concern if there will be something else that won't work...

I bought this in August 2023 used it 3 times not with boiling water and it burst and burned my skin on my legs cheap quality rubber very dangerous avoid this item

Good water bottle with just a couple cons;Insulation fur is too thick and one has to keep changing water regularly say every 1.5 hrs or so.The muffs bits fell off within a day or two but that hasn't affected the functionality of the product.Good airtight nozzle that seals the water from leaking. Comfortable and cosy especially when used in bed.

 Brought to replace one that had just passed it's expiry date.This has the British Safety Standards numbers on and date of manufacture so you know when it needs replacing.The cover is a nice plush fabric so the hot water bottle doesn't feel too hot against the skin. Standard size water bottle and does the job intended.

Omg I love this snuggly hot water bottle and cover... my st bernard dog layed on my other one a few days ago and it popped under his weight... lol...Great value for money...Highly recommend...

Poor quality

Habe heute diese Wärmflasche erhalten. Paket war ohne Mängel, als ich es aufmachte war die kaputte Wärmflasche drin!Das Flausch Ding sieht aber sehr gut aus. Aber kaputte Ware zu versenden ist nicht in Ordnung.

The bottle inside is functional as expected. The faux fur cover was lovely looking but the fluffy ball came off in bed approx 1 week after it arrived. - pic attached. Not very well made

I ordered 2 hot water bottles from General Healthcare and after approx 4 months of use 1 of these bottles has developed a small hole because the rubber has deteriorated badly. I contacted the general healthcare who asked me to supply clear pictures of the problem and would investigate further. Since that initial contact I have tried contacting them further but as I've heard nothing more I assume they are simply not interested in my problem and are hoping I'll just go away.£24 for two hot water bottles isn't really cheap, but their customer care is in my humble opinion. Would I purchase anything from them again ?Definitely not !

The bottle burst and the rubber has perished. Because it came with a cover I did not see the deterioration starting.

It burst and I ended up with burns on my leg, foot, fingers and thigh.

The actual water bottle is nice, fluffy and warm when water is put into it, but one day after I got it the Pom Pom came off, now it just looks a bit scruffy and I’m disappointed cause the Pom Pom really completes the look. It needs better stitching, unless mine was just faulty :(
