Had this two days and has already split after heating three times! Waste of money

My partner has used this item for muscular pain for about 3 weeks. It's good enough for what it is. Stays warm and is comfortable to use.Sadly, he went to use it yesterday evening and it has split on the seam. A quick fix with a needle and thread but shouldn't be necessary after only a couple of weeks use.

I have used a few different heat packs over the years.I have found this one slightly awkward to use.Firstly, it should be laid flat on a dish on the microwave turntable. As the item is approximately 43 cm long my microwave is not large enough. However, I have done what I have done with previous heat packs. Laid along the inside of a round plastic bowl and making sure it doesn't touch the top of the microwave. This works fine for me, although the instructions say no creases as risk of scorching.The pad should only be heated for 30 sec which is a lot shorter than I am used to. It doesn't heat up as much as I would want to, so I need to do the recommended 15 sec bursts.I also found that with only the one seam in the middle of the heat pack not sufficient in keeping the clay beads evenly distributed. When hung around the neck they soon end up at the bottom of the heat pack on either side of the neck. It is also quite weighty, 879 g.Material is very nice and soft.

This is a decent heat/cold pack….Has a very faint mint smell ….and can be used on many parts of the body….This is a green pack and is filled with tiny balls of some kind….Only takes a minute in the microwave to heat….or put in fridge or freezer to have a cold pack…Very good value at £9.99…Soft material…stitching good….Great for pain relief….Would recommend…

I love these kind of heat bags, only take a minute or so in the microwave to get lovely and hot and it stays warm a good while.It's not heavy and the fabric is nice and soft, I can't comment on the cold as I don't use these for that, but for heat it's fab

I have been looking for a heating pad that I could use to rest my wrist when I am working and very happy to come across this product. This however is not limited for the wrist, very useful to use on the back or the lower abdomen area. Very easy to use and I think it is very good that instructions are attached to the actual product as I sometimes forget :)This product is a must have for me.

Works well as an alternative to a hot water bottle, easy to follow instructions too. The bag is however way too big for my microwave so I had to fold it to use. I think this may effect how well the beads are heated as I had to heat this a further 2 times than the instructors stated and it still wasn't very warm. This may also be down to personal preference as I have my hot water bottles like lava.I'd definitely recommend though as it's great for neck or other awkward body pains as the bag is more flexible. It can also be put in the freezer to make a cold pack! Very versatile

This hot and cold pack came packaged in a nicely designed box. You get instructions included, which are also on a label sewed onto the pack which is a handy featureI really like the teal colour, and the pack feels quite weighty with the beads inside. The mint scent is extremely subtle, I’m not sure unless you were sniffing for it you’d detect it was there. The instructions state you can’t use essential oils on the pack, so you can’t increase the minty scentIt only just managed to fit inside our 750w microwave. I heated it for 45 seconds as recommended, but it wasn’t as hot as I’d like, so I followed the instructions and heated for a further 15 seconds twice. This increased the heat a little bit, the heat lasted for around 30 minutesThe pack will be good for temporarily relieving any aches and pains, I do wish the minty scent was a bit stronger though

This heat/cool pack is so good, I am using it just as a heat pack and find it very helpful. I have done something to a muscle that runs near my collar bone. It is always a bit sore but sometimes I move the wrong way and it is agony. Using heat really helps. The heat pack is super quick to heat up in the microwave and stays hot for ages. I love that this has a mint aroma, I find it very calming and comforting. It is also very good for mouth pain; I have a wound on my inner lip from a blister and the heat really helps. I like the texture of the fabric; it is nice and soft. I also use it at the small of my back to ease pain. So much safer than a hot water bottle (I still have scars from one bursting when I was a kid). No hesitation at all in recommending this.

Great size, this is filled with clay beads instead of wheat or barley like the ones I’ve tried previous. I can’t smell the mint from it so if you’re worried about it being over powering it’s not. Keeps the heat very well, I only put it in the micro for 1 min and it was a perfect temp! I love how big it is too, fits most places that’s required. Comes boxed lovely too, so would make a nice gift. Good value.

There is nothing l dislike about this, l've had something similar in the past but as nice as this one. Love the sage green colour and the velvety feel to it, also the length is quite long.There are clear instructions on how to store pack as well as concise instructions on how to heat it in the microwave.I suffer with arthritis so any pain relief is welcomed.Overall I'm pleased.

This is very easy and quick to heat. It works well and it's very comfortable to use on the neck, tummy etc but it doesn't deliver the heat as hot as I would like. Also I need more for my back and its difficult keeping positioned ....

Nice and soft and good that it’s quite long but I nested it for the recommended time and I didn’t find it still hot for very long.

This item is as described and is ideal size to help relieve pain . It is comfortable to use went heated . The fabric is soft to touch.

Brought this cos my old one has seen better days (and still smells of lavender..yuk!) this one is slightly longer and thicker with a pleasant aroma. I use both heat and cold options as had (still have) a really bad nerve problem, from back all down top of left leg (different nerve to sciatica but more painful) . This hot/cold pad really helps with pain, especially between doses of extremely strong prescription meds.

Set on fire and now they won’t answer my emails..brilliant customer service! Don’t buy!

I have one from years ago which is really warm. This is good but not as warm as I wanted however it does stay warm for a long period which is good. Very flexible so can be used on any part of body
