Bar completly broken in half. Not great for a bar of soap that is a little more expensive than the usual bar soap.

I like this soap, can see it being great for camping as an added fly deterrent but not sure about the anti ageing benefits, my skin feels nice after use but not tighter. Bar does discolour after a few weeks of use (see pics) but assume that is the essential oils. Would say its high priced at £5 for one bar, and as per title smells like citronella fly spray (so a bit medical too). I still like it and would buy it if you got x2 bars for that price.

Lots of chemicals in the ingredients, no mention of the palm oil is sustainable or if it is cruelty free. Very expensive for one bar and it did not last long. For body use only, keep away from eyes. Not for me.

This soap is an attractive pale green colour and has the most amazing lemony scent.The bar keeps it's form really well and doesn't go all soggy and slimy with use.At £5, at time of review, I think it's a reasonable price for a quality bar that smells fabulous and will last a long time.

This lovely advanced and citronella and lemongrass soap is amazing, the smell is incredible, it’s a 80g soap , good to shower with, and leaves your skin nice, it also cleans the skin and relief from itching. It’s an antibacterial soap need to have at home.

I have used Revitale soaps before and I have always found them very good so I had no qualms requesting this Citronella and Lemongrass bar.Straight out of its box there is hardly any sense of a scent - probably because the soap bar is in a sealed plastic wrapper to avoid it losing its scent in transit.Once the wrapper is removed the citronella smell just hits you - think of lemony / citrussy scents that you notice on holidays.It is quite a strong smell and I can imagine it will work as a form of insect repellent a bit like citronella candles do - although you rub this one on your skin.So far I have only used this to wash my hands as I am not sure if the scent / ingredients will be too strong for my face.I found it lathered up really easily and well - and it has a noticeable creamy smooth feeling once you have rinsed it off.I am very pleased with it - and I would be interested to see if insects are attracted or repelled by the smell; and I am keen to use it on other parts of my body once I have given it a sufficient trial on my hands alone.

It's made in the UK and contains lemongrass and citronellaI used to use shower gels but have recently gone back to using soap bars as I find them longer lasting and more convenient for travel, as well as taking up less space. So I was happy to be able to review this soap barOnce you take the soap out of the box (and plastic cover) you're hit with the lovely lemony smell, it lathers up well and left my skin feeling soft and clean. For a bar of soap it's not exactly cheap, but it is nice and helps to moisturise your skin too

On opening, the soap had a scent cross between hedge cuttings and lemon sherbet sweets. And that's pretty accurate to the citronella and lemongrass components. It lathered well, even in cool water and my hands felt fairly soft afterwards, with no irritation or dryness.The smell is an acquired taste, and once used had a very 'green' smell, much more leaning to hedge cuttings than lemon, but not unpleasant.£5.99 is quite expensive for a soap like this, but it would make a good gift and is presented nicely in a box.

I’m used to buying expensive Italian soap which is about twice the size, so at a similar price, I was curious whether this would be any good ? While it doesn’t lather up as nicely , this soap doesn’t have any of the synthetic ingredients my Italian stuff has, more importantly, as nice as my usual soap is , this soap leaves your skin moisturised , almost oiled , which keeps them supple much longer. The smell is nice and it’s made in England to boot.At just under six pounds it’s not cheap , but it’s worth it for its moisturising properties and the ingredients are good. Recommended.

Smells lovely of citrus, foams really well whilest rubbing into my skin. Leaves my skin feeling clean. Good value. Worth the value.

I ordered this Revitale Advanced Citronella & Lemongrass Soap 80g after researching citronella and lemon grass essential oil soap bars to keep the mosquitoes from attacking me.I assumed it helps repel mosquitoes - but I still got bitten.I love the citronella and lemongrass smell but would I pay £5.99 for a small bar of soap that doesn't even lather up well? I wouldn't.

Loverly soap with a beautiful fragrance.Lathers up well and I'm very happy with it.Recommended.

I like citrussy scents and I still use bar soaps so I was happy to give this Revitale Advanced Citronella & Lemongrass Soap a go.Now, I don't want to state the obvious but the soap scent is very lemony, very citrussy. If you are a fan of lemon scented items then this could certainly be up your street. Or of course if you were giving as a gift, if you know your gift recipient likes lemony scents.The bar itself arrives in an attractive box and is a fairly standard sized soap bar - just like ones you may buy from a supermarket or wherever. As for the elephant in the room - the price tag, currently listed at £5.99 for this one bar it is too steep for me and personally I would not order it again based on this. But how you spend your money is your business, my job is just to tell you about the product, not to tell you how to spend your money.

I just picked my daughter up from camp. Everyone there was covered in big bites - and she has absolutely ZERO. I’m convinced this was the GAME CHANGER!

Used this every shower on holiday and did not get bitten by mosquitoes at all. Not a great fan of the smell of citronella but much prefer this soap to any of the sprays that are advertised Would highly recommend

Smells so strong it’ll take over the entire bag. Though I suppose that’s also needed to deter the mosquitoes.
